Overview

Services

Research, development and editing of technical manuscripts on development, economics and health issues. I work with authors preparing scholarly articles to communicate their ideas succinctly for cross-disciplinary and non-technical readers.

Who will benefit

Authors of technical or scientific research reports in development economics and global health typically write for an audience that is already familiar with the subject matter and therefore assume a level of common knowledge in laying out an argument. This material is often useful for readers with backgrounds in health and/or economics, but less accessible to readers in other disciplines. Readers interested in the topic who experience difficulty following the technical analysis tend to take what they can from the introduction and conclusion.

I can help you meet your goal to broaden your readership base and minimize the risk of being misquoted in references or misinterpreted in popular press forums. I use my expertise as an economist to transform a technical draft into an interesting report for the non-specialist audience. I do research to develop clear and accurate content and I apply a consistent style and tone to structure multi-authored thematic reports.
